Magazines.  There are many local magazines that can be great dating ideas for personals ads.  The best part of these ads is that they are almost always 100 percent free!  There are also magazines that have a wider area and readership, which is great if location is not a central consideration.  The benefit of choosing a local magazine is that you can select a magazine that appeals to your interests.  So if you love good food and wine choose a local magazine that showcases these things.  This increases the chance that someone will answer your ad shares your interests.  The disadvantage is that many people may only read the magazine for their interests, they may not be looking for a date!

Online.  Online is a great choice and dating idea regardless of what you are looking for.  You can post it on a website local to your area, or on a dating website that appeals to a wider readership.  The biggest benefit of trying a online dating site is that you can see profiles of 10000’s users, and it takes very little time.  It can be time consuming to look through magazines and newspapers, and only a few minutes to find a website online.  If you post online you can post your ad in multiple different places increasing the likelihood that you will find the perfect person for you.
