Cheap Dates: Plan Fun without Breaking the Bank

Everyone wants to impress on their date and this usually consists of wining and dining and spending top dollar to show your date that you have value. Many times, you will be taking a date on the same type of outing over and over again. Sure, everyone loves to be treated like royalty, but not everyone can afford it, and not everyone expects it. Show your date that you are different and allow them to have fun with you, without allowing money being an integral part of the day.

If budget is a concern of yours, here are a number of fun little dates that may even end up being more fun than an expensive night out on the town. For starters, head to your local library and grab a book and read to each other. Better yet, take advantage of the coffee shops that are place inside major book store chains. Grab a magazine or your favorite book and read to each other while sipping on your favorite latte. Or how about this, head downtown and go shopping without spending an arm and a leg. Have an adventure and leave your care at home. Use public transportation to get downtown and simply browse, window shop or even try on clothes that you could never actually afford. Not that into shopping? Hope on a bus together without knowing where it goes. See where you end up and just enjoy the mystery and being with each other.

If public transportation isn’t your thing, why not just go for a drive. There is often an excess of lovely scenery around that is just a short drive away. Drive to a mountain, through a valley or even through an expensive neighborhood. A drive through the mountains will offer an incredible view of the city and offer a perfect venue for the two of you to have a personal and relaxed conversation.

Money does not have to be an integral part of any date. More often than not, your date has been taken out to a fancy restaurant before. Show that you are different from all the others. If you can provide a day’s worth of fun without opening your wallet, it allows for the two of you to connect on the most personal level
